Mr Cenz x Hawksmill Rum

To mark World Sea Turtle Day, I created a large-scale live mural in Leake Street Arches, raising awareness and funds for sea turtle conservation.

Commissioned by Hawksbill Rum, the mural supported the brand’s commitment to helping protect 100,000 turtle hatchlings through its partnership with the charity SEETurtles.

Illfest, Austin Texas

It was a pleasure to be invited out to paint my first Illfest, in Austin Texas alongside some great artists like Pez, Greg Mike and Jeks. It’s a large electronic music and street art festival which has been going for several years and has a big following. I painted a hug wall next to one of the main stages and at nighttime they had it video mapped so my work animated live for people to enjoy.

Upfest, Bristol

It was great to be back to be part of Upfest for the first time in 10 years. I was given great rooftop spot on the main Bedminster Road. I decided to do a classic Mr Cenz  style futuristic woman looking down at passers by.

Kingston Bridge Project, Glasgow

I was asked to by Yardworks Festival to paint the all sides of this huge 15 metre high pillar under a flyover in central Glasgow alongside some great other artists. I decided to create a purely abstract piece with a minimal pallete that flows and wraps around the whole thing.

Concrete Canvas, Chelmsford

I was commissioned to create this mural for the Concrete Canvas Festival in Chelmsford, located at The Courtyard, one of the town’s popular music venues.

The artwork depicts a young woman dancing freely and safely, celebrating the dancefloor as a space for joy, self-expression and connection. Painted in blues and purples, the mural references Chelmsford’s Purple Flag status, recognising the town’s commitment to a safe, vibrant and welcoming night-time economy.

At its heart, the piece is a reminder that dancefloors should be safe space/place where everyone can feel free to be themselves.

Margate Recycling Bin Project

At the end of April 2026  I joined the Rise Up Residency in Margate to paint one of the council recycling bins that are dotted around Thanet. For this project I produced an abstract composition inspired by the movement and rhythm of sky and sea, loose gestural marks, soft fades and layered washes of colour aimed at capturing the coastal atmosphere. You can find the finished bin on the seafront near Dreamland.

Stratford Junction

To kick off the year, I’ve been out battling the elements to create my first large-scale artwork of 2026 here in London. I was invited to take part in a brilliant new project called Stratford Junction, where different artists paint the full side of a London bus.

The project opens to the public in May and will be a great addition to the local scene. For my piece, I decided to do something a little different, a classic Mr Cenz-style portrait, but using minimal blue tones so the viewer is even more focused on the abstract nature of the composition.

Back in Penge

At the start of the month, I took advantage of the sunshine to create a new mural in Penge, an area close to my heart, as I grew up just down the road. I teamed up again with London Calling Blog to paint on one of the first spots he ever opened in the area, on Evelina Road.

Responding to the chaos of the world, this piece carries my usual underlying message of love and hope, expressed through an interpretation of music and sound waves. Continuing my focus on blues and purples, I portrayed a male figure trying to stay positive and focused during challenging times.

It felt great to be back in Penge, and I had the chance to connect with both old friends and new faces while painting.

Kreative Talks

A big thank you to everyone who came out to my presentation with ‘Kreative Talks’ at the Art’otel in Hoxton. It was amazing to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones too.

I really enjoyed sharing my creative journey and personal insights as an artist.

I started from the beginning in the mid 80’s, discussing early influences and hip hop culture. Then traced all of the important milestones on the path to finding my style and vision as a professional artist.

It was a special moment to reflect, and now I feel exited to push forward into 2026.
