‘Fatherhood’ Mural, Wathamstow, London
I was invited to contribute to the Strength mural series on the side of Pure Muscles Gym in Walthamstow, London. I decided to interpret the theme through the idea of fatherhood, exploring the strength, responsibility and commitment needed to be a good dad and role model.
The artwork depicts a new father holding and embracing his child, capturing the unique bond between them. For me, strength isn’t just about physical power. It’s also about being there for someone, providing support, showing love and guiding the next generation. Fatherhood comes with a huge responsibility, but also an incredible sense of connection and purpose. I wanted the mural to celebrate that quieter, emotional side of strength. I decided to do that with a minimal colour palette, focusing on just on blues to make the image more powerful. Watch out for a print release of this incoming really soon
